These Terms of Service govern your use of the StudyTok AI mobile apps, website, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. StudyTok AI is intended for users aged 13 and above. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. Any higher minimum age required by applicable law also applies.
StudyTok AI helps you turn study materials into notes and practice what you learn. Features include note creation and organization, AI-generated quizzes and flashcards, Feynman practice and feedback, translation, mindmaps, AI chat about your notes, and study timers. Supported inputs include text, images, documents, audio, and supported links.
Features, input limits, and availability may vary by platform, app version, and subscription. Some features require an internet connection and processing by external service providers.
You may create an account using the social sign-in methods available on your platform, including Google or Apple. Email and password sign-in remains available for existing accounts. New email and password registration is being retired and may remain temporarily available in older app versions.
Google, Apple, and email/password accounts are separate, even when they use the same email address. They are not automatically linked. Signing in using another method does not merge or move your notes, quizzes, flashcards, or other study content. Use your original sign-in method to access that account.
Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate information where requested. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Paid subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Available plans may include weekly, monthly, or annual subscriptions. The purchase screen and store confirmation show the available benefits, price, billing period, and any applicable offer before you buy. Prices and availability may differ by store, country, currency, and time.
RevenueCat helps us manage subscription access. Restore Purchases checks purchases associated with your store account. Depending on the store and purchase-transfer rules, restoring may assign subscription access to your currently signed-in StudyTok AI account. It does not transfer or restore study content, and a transfer is not guaranteed in every situation.
You retain the rights you hold in the materials you upload or create. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process, reproduce, and transmit those materials, including through our service providers, to provide the features you use. This does not transfer ownership of your materials to us.
You may use generated study materials subject to applicable law and the rights of others. AI outputs may not be unique, and we do not guarantee that they are eligible for exclusive copyright protection. Our software, branding, designs, and underlying technology remain protected by their respective owners' rights.
AI features process the content you submit using external AI and transcription services described in our Privacy Policy. This can include your documents, images, recordings, transcripts, notes, chat messages, and Feynman answers, depending on the feature you choose.
AI-generated notes, translations, questions, answers, and feedback can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Check important information against reliable sources. StudyTok AI supports learning; it does not guarantee grades, academic results, or the accuracy of an assessment.
Recording begins when you choose to start it. Supported mobile versions can continue recording while the app is in the background or the screen is locked. Recording limits are shown in the app; the updated mobile app supports lecture recordings of up to five hours. Device interruptions, operating-system restrictions, or loss of power can affect a recording.
You can request account deletion in Settings. When your request is accepted, access to your account is disabled immediately and active sessions are revoked. After 30 days from your request, we manually delete your account information and associated study content, including uploaded files. Permanent data deletion is not immediate. Records that we are legally required to retain are kept only for the applicable purposes and retention periods.
Cancel any active subscription separately through the App Store or Google Play. Account deletion does not cancel billing. Once your study content has been permanently deleted, creating another account or restoring a purchase will not recover it.
We may restrict or suspend access when necessary to address violations of these Terms, protect the Service or other users, or comply with applicable law.
If you download StudyTok AI from the Apple App Store, your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms describe the StudyTok AI service and do not replace the applicable Apple Standard EULA or the App Store's purchase terms.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every error can be prevented. Maintenance, network issues, and changes to external services may affect features. Keep copies of original materials that are important to you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will publish the updated version here with its revision date and notify you of material changes through the Service or email. Where required by law, we will provide advance notice or request your agreement before changes take effect.
These Terms apply subject to applicable law. They do not remove protections or access to courts available to you under mandatory laws in your place of residence.
